I was asked by my friend Asad Husain former CHRO, what changed about “Leadership” over the last year — my response

LOVE — There is one word I would use to describe what has changed and defines good leadership –it is not a term that is used in business much — The world is LOVE and I believe it is currency –I see it in four dimensions:

1. Love of Family and Friends ( a greater appreciation of what it means to balance it — a renewed focus now on what is most important for wellbeing)

2. Love of Work (does my work give me meaning and purpose and can people feel like they each make a difference)

3. Love of Colleagues (appreciate and respect the diversity of all and what each person brings to the organization — Also we have redefined what essential worker means)

4. Love of Self (Take care of yourself, body, and mind — it builds personal resilience — if not it is hard to be there for others)
